《布列瑟农》选自马修·连恩专辑《狼》。1992年加拿大有空地方政府施行了一项名为“驯鹿增量”计划”，为达到目的，却必须大量捕杀狼群。为此，30多位音乐工作者以2年多的时间，完成了《狼》这张专辑：它以最直接的感情，最沉痛的呼声，敲击着人们的心……绚丽的苏格兰乐风，记录着“飞鼠溪”的悲情；“布列瑟农”抒情的吟唱着无奈的离乡情绪；轻爵士的 “归乡之翼”，古典管弦交织出力量与悲情……将原野上活生生的狼群带入音乐中。这是以音乐与人性写下的动人史诗。

隐约的钟声，仿佛来自遥远的地方，那是乡村教堂在夕阳西下轻轻敲响的钟声吗？可以使人想到安详的钟声啊，你是怎样的在我的心田里轻轻摇荡。

浑厚的男音在舒缓地吟唱着无奈的离乡曲，使人透过那带着怀念的声音体味到一颗流浪在外的心，是怎样地在怀想着故乡。

那必是一个个的黄昏，在有着同样昏黄的色彩下，离乡的人一次次地回头，无奈而伤感的眼望着故乡的方向，那里也许有一座座的群山，显出渐渐暗淡的身影。或着是在火车上，一个人，在半夜孤零零地醒来，望向窗外，只有黑幽幽的山影，天上有星星吗？纵使有也是孤单的吧。而这时唯一的声响是那车的声音，塔-提- 塔，塔-提-塔……那是多么单调而又有着无限韵味的声音啊。

　　也或者，是在异乡的街头，你一个不经意的回首，猛然间见到那熟悉却久别的朋友。也许是你低着头徘徊时不知从何出溢出的一句乡音。站在这样的路口，你不会泪流？

　　故乡可以是母亲那一声声不再能听到的唠叨，现在想来却亲切，简直能直探到你的心底。也或许是那熟悉的简陋的房子，直到现在你还能真切地回想触摸它时的感受。或者是那条小溪，曾流淌着你几多的往事，现在依旧在你的记忆里熠熠生辉。

　　离家是越来越远了，在这样幽深的夜里，你不会想到家人吗？你不会情不自禁地回想起那黄昏时从远处传来的钟声吗？它也必象那单调的车声一样来撞击你的柔软的心，那是想哭的温柔。

　　与漂泊相对的生存状态是安定，我一直以为要是能有一个大大的草原，一望无际，而背后是高山，有着蔚蓝的天，有着清冽的空气，还有一群安详着面带微笑的人们，那简直就是天堂了。

　　或许只有历经了漂泊况味的人才能深深体味安定生活里所蕴涵着的各种滋味吧。
